As my daily devotion time, I'm going to write, instead of read someone else's, daily miracles. My hope is, that by doing this, I will enrich my journey and awareness of God in the little things in my life and also encourage others to do the same. I encourage you to share your comments and stories of things that you encounter along your journey.
Blessings,
Jennifer

Work

As the end of my week nears, I am happy to report that my first full week at my new job was awesome!  Today I worked at the job I'm leaving and then went to my new job.  Although the teens were a little squirrely, I loved it anyway!  This week I've brought random food in and they were ecstatic!  I can't imagine what next Monday will be like when I announce every Monday is Pizza Night!
As I went from one job to the other today, it was very obvious that I'm going where I'm supposed to be right now.  I'm making connections with teens who need a positive person in their life.  Of course, there are some who aren't ready for that connection yet.  They are probably the ones who need it most.  But, the right time will come for that, I imagine.  Every day, I've also had at least one of my youth there.  I don't think they know what a blessing that is to me to have a familiar face there.  And, since they know me well and the other teens there know them, it helps bridge the new teens to me.  It's like they think "well, if she thinks this person is ok, I guess I'm ok with her, too."  That makes my job a lot easier!
So, tonight I'm tired after working from 6:30am to 7:15pm.  But, I enjoyed every minute of it!  Then, after work, my husband and I went out for dinner.  With his back pain, that's rare for us anymore.
So, today God blessed me with a good day, and the great feeling of knowing I'm exactly where I should be right now.
Romans 8:28
New International Version (NIV)
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
Blessings,
Jennifer
