As my daily devotion time, I'm going to write, instead of read someone else's, daily miracles. My hope is, that by doing this, I will enrich my journey and awareness of God in the little things in my life and also encourage others to do the same. I encourage you to share your comments and stories of things that you encounter along your journey.
Blessings,
Jennifer

JIF

Last night I had to work late at the teen center.  Luckily, a volunteer helped me out and started my group for JIF.  As I was getting ready to leave the center, there were 3 guys there.  One had planned on riding with me since he normally goes to JIF.  The others I don't know well.  About all I knew about the one was that he enjoys announcing that he's an atheist.  The other had only been at the center once or twice.  But, as we were leaving, they decided to go to JIF, too.
It was "clean the youth house night!"  So, when we all got there, things were in full swing- floors were being mopped, things were being organized, and bathrooms were being cleaned.  A few minutes into our cleaning, the "atheist" told me he had to leave since his mom wanted him home.  He actually seemed sad that he couldn't stay.  He told me he'd be there on Sunday.
Today, he was back at the teen center.  And, the first thing he asked me was if there would be youth group tonight.  I see God working in this new adventure.  By being involved with teens in different places, I can help more teens find the right path, teens who wouldn't always feel comfortable just showing up at church without someone to guide them.  And, that's a pretty exciting thing!
2 Corinthians 4:15

15 All these things are for your benefit. As grace increases to benefit more and more people, it will cause gratitude to increase, which results in God’s glory.
Blessings,
Jennifer
