A week ago, I posed a challenge to my youth during the famine.
"New facebook challenge! Post every day about how you are going to make a difference, how someone else has made a difference, a random act of kindness you did for someone or they did for you today."
This week, I've seen a few posts, but not as many as my last facebook challenge. But, it's only the beginning. And, tonight when I went out to eat, I talked to someone who happened to see my posts. She mentioned my posts and asked me what it was all about. So, even if I don't see a lot of statuses talking about random acts of kindness, hopefully, it's getting people to be more aware and to think about being kind to each other.
Today I was pretty much off. So, I enjoyed a day to do things I wanted to do. And, random acts were a part of it. It's alot more enjoyable to be kind than it is to think about negative things.
So, where was God today? His lesson to us all is to love one another. Our mission should be to do that in any way we can, in every way we can. And, wherever love and kindness is, there is God.
What random act of kindness can you do today?
Matthew 25:40Blessings,
Jennifer
37-40"Then those 'sheep' are going to say, 'Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?' Then the King will say, 'I'm telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.'
