Bonds

This summer, I am around a lot of kids from all different ages and backgrounds.  Awhile back, there was a young boy who was running around and not listening to me at all.  It takes a lot for me to get frustrated.  But, I was on the verge of being frustrated with him.  Then I found out he had medical issues that caused his behavior problems.  Understanding that, I am now able to deal with him in a way that eliminates any issues.
But, this isn't about me.  It's about so many of the other kids who don't now what I know.  They have been amazing with this boy!  One in particular has taken him under her wing and it's so awesome to watch the two of them.  Yesterday, I mentioned something to her mom and just talking to her about her daughter got me choked up! 
I've found another boy needs a lot of attention and positive reinforcement has done wonders for him.  The awesome thing I've watched is the little boy who has found a great friend in him and he seeks him out so he can give him a hug. 
The bonds that are forming between the younger ones and the older ones is a great thing to watch.  It helps both ages become better people- the younger by having positive role models and the older by having a reason to be a better person knowing someone is looking up to them.
So where was God today?  He's there guiding these bonds, putting people in the right paths.
