Friday and Saturday were spent driving. While the two vans traveled down the road, all the youth slept the days away! I guess after everything that happened throughout the week and the busy schedule, they had a lot of catching up to do!
When we arrived at our destination Friday night, we were greeted by a youth volunteer and several youth from the church. It was great to see a few friendly faces after a day of traveling.
It wasn't easy. 14 hour drives aren't fun. But, the group was great and never complained about the hours in the van. We arrived safely home Saturday afternoon.
I was really impressed with how quickly the vans were unpacked and things were put where they were supposed to go. I think everyone was excited to be home and with their families!
So, where was God today? He kept us safe and brought us safely home.
