It's been awhile. In fact when I signed in I noticed it has been 2 weeks. I've been fighting migraines and exhaustion. But, I'm hopeful the weather is going to be my friend again soon and stop triggering migraines.
In these last 2 weeks, lots of random things have happened. The youth shared about their mission trip, parents night out was another big success, I registered for our mission trip for next spring break, and I started talking to people about a mission trip to Mexico.
I also had a lot of other random things happened. I had several stressful days and days of frustration. Through those days, I have felt the blessings of encouragement from those around me. How wonderful that no matter what life brings, God is there through the people around us showing us His love! Not every day is perfect. Not everything we do is perfect. But, His love for us is perfect. And, sometimes I get reminders of that.
Today, I spent the day at the office planning summer activities and details. I can't wait for all the great things I get to do! After that, I had a meeting with someone and it went really well.
This evening, I was thinking about this weekends event. I get to chaperone a lock-in! What's so special about this lock-in? I just realized that the one in charge and all of the chaperones are former youth! How cool is that? As they have grown up, they have decided to continue their relationship with God and have decided to share that with youth! What a blessing!
So, where was God today? He was in the planning and in the meeting I had today. And, He was in the young adults who continue to work for Him.
Blessings,
Jennifer
