Tonight I went to a meeting to talk about an upcoming mission trip. No, it's not the youth mission trip I've been talking about. I'm actually getting ready to leave for a trip in about 10 days! But this one is a little different. This is a group of adults who are going to Texas to help with the hurricane damage. I am excited to go on a trip with adults where I am not in charge! It's a great mix of people of all ages and all walks of life- from 21- 70's! I am happy to see some of my young adults going on the trip. It's really cool to see them transitioning from youth to adult and still seeking out ways to serve.
I am looking forward to learning more about the situation in Texas and finding out how we can help. And, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of the people on the trip better. I'm also looking forward to warmer weather! :)
So, where was God today? He was in the people who made a commitment to go on the upcoming adult mission trip.
