Saturday
This morning I was rushing around getting puppies ready for an adoption event. That meant baths for everyone and gathering a bunch of stuff I probably will never need during the event. After a week of snow, I wanted to leave early to make sure I wasn't late due to roads or slow traffic. So, I was extra rushed.
As I was getting ready, I got a phone call from a friend. Seeing who it was, I remembered. They had planned to give me tickets for port a pit chicken. They were on their way to pick it up an wanted to make sure they could drop off our chicken. Although I had to leave, my husband would be home.
I didn't get home until evening. I hadn't really eaten real food all day due to the busyness. What a blessing it was to have dinner all ready! I am blessed with good friends who showed me a random act of kindness today.
So, where was God today? He was in my friends and in the kindness they showed me.
